Have a dog who’s always drinking out of the toilet bowl? A compromise may be what’s needed. The Refilling Dog Bowl is in the shape of a toilet and holds a 2-liter plastic water bottle to keep the bowl full and fresh of good ole H2O.

Back when I used to take piano lessons, the Black Keyboard Briefcase would’ve made the perfect tote for my music sheets and books. The bottom features a border of the white-and-black keyboard keys.

If you’re a fan of the piano-design theme like I am, you’ll love the Play It Again CD Holder, which stores 50 of your favorite albums and has a beautiful vertical display of keys.

Know someone who’s squeamish about the male anatomy? Humor them in all good fun with the Muscle Man Switch Plate that makes the shy at heart blush and even the energy conservationalist think twice about turning the lights off. (See the product picture on the website and you’ll see what I mean.)

And with the Finger Nose Hair Trimmer, you’re not digging for buried treasure - you’re just getting rid of unwanted hair.

Find these and other great gifts at Collections Etc.!

buycom.jpgAs I type this, I’m listening to Good Golly Miss Molly by Little Richard, and knowing the diversity on my iPod, anything from 50 Cent’s Window Shopper to The Beach Boys’ Kokomo will play next.

If you’re like me, you can’t live without music. When you’re feeling melancholic, the right song (like Mazzy Star’s Fade Into You) can intensify the emotion. And upbeat tunes like What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong lift your soul.

Regardless if you’re a fan of heavy metal, electronica, acid jazz, R&B, classical, world, rock, or all of the above, Buy.com has the artists, bands, songs, and albums you like. Here you’ll find an arsenal of singers and musicians from Dr. Dre and Imogen Heap to Nine Inch Nails and Portishead.

Use the Buy.com coupon by September 22 to get 15% off musical store orders of $25 or more!

On the weekend, I hit the cottage just north of Huntsville with about a dozen friends. We all had an amazing time and while canoeing on Camp Lake, my boyfriend and I saw a gorgeous rainbow up close. How romantic!

To get to the remote, sublime destination was quite the trek, as it took a little over 3 hours of driving to get to the cottage. And part of it was up a winding, unpaved road.

Despite the tedious traveling, music by Jimmy Cliff, A Tribe Called Quest, Against Me!, and Gangstarr helped make the time fly by faster and keep the spirits up.

Have some good beats ready for your next traveling expedition. Order some CDs from Buy.com and round out your collection today!
