National Seat Check Day – OK so today’s holiday isn’t as straightforward as you may think. Sure, when you read the title you might think National Seat Check Day celebrates all those times you’ve gone to a concert or sporting event and you had to convince the people who were sitting in your seats that they weren’t supposed to be there! Ahh I hate it when that happens! However, today is not drawing attention to this pesky situation. Rather, National Seat Check Day kicks off Child Passenger Safety Week. I don’t need to tell you the importance of having a proper car seat for your child’s age, weight and size. Whether you have kids or not, car seats protect children and are said to save thousands of children’s lives a year on the roads. So take my advice and get your child a proper car seat especially if he/she has grown out of the current one. I know, I know. Raising a child or children is expensive. That’s why you need my help! I say you head over to One Step Ahead and stock up on a whole bunch of safety products for your baby or young toddler. Save 10% on car seats, child safety gates, safety harnesses and more childproofing safety products when you use One Step Ahead coupons and spend $50 or more.

National Punch Day - I’m not really sure how to approach this holiday. The most obvious interpretation of “punch” is usually found in a large punch bowl in the middle of a table at a party or lame prom. Punch has made a pretty big name for itself. In virtually every high school movie or television show, there is always someone spiking the punch. I can’t believe kids actually do that! Such rebels I tell you. Personally, I don’t love the taste of alcohol; however, punch was originally made with a dash of liquor back then when it was invented. When’s the last time you had punch? Your high school prom? Oh my! Did you swear you’d never drink it again because you got soooooo sick after some punks spiked the punch? If you’re throwing a retro shindig or any party, punch is a great drink to serve…make a few of them, fill them with chopped fruits and you’re done! And if someone spikes the drink at your party, then be sure to check out Drugstore.com so you can be prepared for the aftermath…you do not want another prom repeat! Save $10 on vitamins, Aspirin, natural green products and tea when you use Drugstore.com coupons and spend $50 or more!
