National Comic Book Day - I am not a huge comic book fan; however, I used to occasionally (I’m talking every week) pick up a comic book at the grocery store. Um…does Archie Comics count? I’m going to make it! Archie Comics were such a big part of my childhood. Since I love reading, I’d get so lost in these Archie Comics that I’d think I was IN the storyline. Of course, I always had to be Veronica. Those comics still crack me up! I’m sure many people my age and older have the same experiences I did with comic books. I don’t know one person who doesn’t appreciate The Batman and Robin comic book series or a good comic strip in the weekly newspaper. If you think comic books are too juvenile for you to be reading on your way to work today, then you should at least take special notice to the detailed artwork and imagery on comic book covers and throughout the vivid storylines.
