Ask a Stupid Question Day - It’s so hard not to laugh at today’s holiday because I’m the queen of stupid pointless questions! Not that I do it on purpose, I just ask wayyy too many questions for my own good that it sometimes gets annoying. Teachers used to encourage kids in my class to ask questions since someone else might be thinking the same thing; however, no one ever did. Now that I’m not a student, I’ve become such a perfectionist (and I’m sure many of you are too) that making mistakes is out of the question for me. Now, the funny thing about today’s holiday is where it’s situated on the calendar…the end of September. And what happens in this month? That’s right, the kids went back to school! So, this day is usually celebrated on the last day of school in September as a sort of tongue in cheek to the whole “going back to school” concept. Hug a Vegetarian Day - What a great day and way to thank all those vegetarians who have the willpower to do what most meat lovers would die before doing - giving up meat for life. I tried to become a vegetarian once. Here’s how it happened: I once ate at my favorite fast food place and got food poisoning.
