International Frugal Fun Day - Everyone, get your party hats on and get ready to undo a couple of notches off your belt! Today is the day we celebrate the only thing we know how to do - SAVE! National Frappe Day - MmMm frappes. I was first introduced to frappes when I started going to an upscale coffee pub. Of course, being a coffee addict, I tend to gravitate towards the coffee frappes. Frappes are probably the most ordered of drinks on the menu and I bet no one knows what frappes really consist of. Frappes are a fancy word for an ice cream milkshake, although cream is used as a substitution to milk. YUM! Sounds better now doesn’t it? I hate to break it to you, if you’ve been enjoying frappes every day for the past few months, it might not be such a great thing after all. Sure they taste delicious and really hit the spot; however, frappes should only be enjoyed as special dessert drinks that you only have once or twice a month maximum. I know, it’s hard for me to understand too. Because it’s National Frappe Day, I say we enjoy the last delectable frappe we’re going to have for a LONGGGGG time.
