October 27th - “E.T phone hooooome.” It was on this day in history in 1988 that E.T was first sold on video. There were over 14 million pre-sold copies before it was even released! I loved that movie. I’d watch it over and over again. Especially the part when Drew Barrymore discovers E.T. in her brother’s room and screams at the top of her lungs. E.T. responds with the same high-pitched scream creating one of the most chaotic, funniest movie scenes I’ve ever watched. Another part I love is when E.T. discovers his love for Reese’s Pieces.
