October 31st - It was on this day in history in 834 that All Hallows Eve was first celebrated. There are many explanations as to the origins of this holiday, but the one that makes most sense to me is the one derived from Celtic culture. It was a celebration of the end of summer. It was also believed that both good and evil spirits roamed around on this night, so candy was left in front of homes to pacify evil spirits and in turn ensure a good harvest the next year.  So obviously the most common costumes worn on Halloween are devil costumes, witch costumes, demon and ghost costumes. So what will you be tonight? If you weren’t prepared for this year, you still have next year. And right now, you’ll find the hottest deals at Costume SuperCenter! Head over there now for the huge sale on costumes and use free Costume SuperCenter coupons to save 5% on orders of $30 or more!

Halloween Day - AH!!! It’s finally here! The moment you’ve been waiting for all year long for. The day you can dress up and no one will think you’re a little off. The day when you can indulge in everything sweet (and sour), delicious and decadent. It’s HALLOWEEN! If you were smart, you listened to all my suggestions leading up to Halloween on costume ideas, places to buy your costume, ways to decorate for your Halloween or themed party. If you ask me, I set you up pretty good to have an enjoyable and unforgettable Halloween. For me, I got my costume planned out nice and early, bought my candy a few nights ago and now all I have to do is bring my nephew trick-or-treating which is really an excuse for me to show off my costume and get free candy because my nephew is too young to eat candy. SCORE! Tomorrow or tonight, when you’re all tired out and need a way to relax from all the festivities, discover deals at iWin where you can do some mindless playing in front of your screen and disappear for hours! Save 40% on discount arcade, trivia, puzzle and matching online games when you use iWin coupons.

Increase Your Psychic Powers Day - Hmm, I think I mentioned once or twice how I’m sort of telepathic with the people I’m closest to, and thanks to my 7th grade free-spirited teacher, I’m extremely in tune with my intuition. Increase Your Psychic Powers Day is a fun way to pass the time at a lame Halloween party you find yourself at (or a good one if you listened to my ideas). Try it out and see how psychic you are. Go up to a random person you don’t know and stare at them and tell them what you think they’re thinking. Or go up to your best friend and try reading their mind. Perhaps you could start charging people if you’re really good at it and you’ll make a mint profit! Do this around a campfire and give everyone a run for their money (literally). Since you know I’m sort of intuitive, maybe I can read your mind. Uhmmm (this is the noise I make when I’m reading minds). My cosmic star senses are telling me you’re looking for deals at Sierra Trading Post. Save 10% on discount Teva, Columbia and Patagonia apparel, shoes and gear on orders of $100 or more when you use Sierra Trading Post coupons.
