World Kindness Day - If there’s a holiday theme I love more than food holidays, it has to be holidays that encourage acts of kindness and doing good onto others. It seems we’ve all got places to go and people to see, and it’s very rare to hear someone say “thank you” after another has held the door or elevator for them. Nonetheless, it’s important that we at least try to show some human compassion and be kind to one another. It doesn’t have to be in a big way. Today’s holiday was the result of the first World Kindness Movement conference founded in Japan which declared World Kindness Day November 13th.
