National Sardines Day - P - U! I hate sardines. The way they look, smell and taste. They give me the creeps. Unfortunately for me, my dad happens to be a huge fan of sardines and ruins the holidays for me by adding sardines to his meal. The smell overpowers the delicious aromas of the house, and I can’t taste anything except sardines. UGH! Nonetheless, instead of talking about them the whole time, I’ll talk about how I’m known for using the word sardines to describe being cramped up in packed malls and streets. If I knew what it felt like to be inside a sardine can, then I swear it’s the same feeling I get when I’m squashed in between tons of people who are pushing and shoving. NOT FUN! This tends to happen during the holidays. Everyone waits till the last minute and crowds the malls, grocery stores and liquor stores, and its complete chaos.
