Black Friday - So I’m sure you’re all aware that today, the day after Thanksgiving, is also Black Friday. Traditionally, this is the day to start your holiday shopping. The “black” in Black Friday usually refers to the huge amounts of traffic and crowded streets on the Friday after Thanksgiving. This started occurring more and more since the 1960s because most people started taking the day off of work after Thanksgiving, which meant more potential shoppers. So brilliant I tell ya! Virtually everything in stores (and online) will be dirt cheap today. It may be important to note that although Black Friday is one of those events once a year that you just have to experience, it doesn’t mean you have to deal with busy crowds, shoving shoppers and long line ups. You can shop at home you know and still get great deals. It’s Black Friday every day when you use our coupons! Make Your Own Head Day - Hmm, ok…how would I go about making my own head? Maybe this holiday is really about making up your own mind or making decisions for yourself. Unless you’re a huge pushover, I’m sure this isn’t really hard for you to do. It’s important to start making decisions at a very young age so that you develop good decision-making skills in other areas of your life, like your career. Who am I to talk? Sometimes I can’t make a decision if my life depended on it. Other times I’m so impulsive. Nonetheless, today’s holiday is all about YOU, your head, your mind, your life! It’s all in your control. You should feel great about that. What kinds of decisions will you make today? To eat, not to eat leftovers from Thanksgiving? (This shouldn’t take you long to decide.) To go to the gym, not to go to the gym (um, maybe tomorrow?). To shop, not to shop? (YES YES YES.) Hey, don’t make me decide for you. Make up your own mind! If you change your mind, I’ll help you make the best decision yet by saving at Sierra Trading Post. Receive free shipping on orders of $75 or more on Columbia, Patagonia and Asolo apparel and footwear when you use Sierra Trading Post coupons.
