Show and Tell Day at Work – Well, this is quite funny, isn’t it? Show and Tell is an integral activity in elementary school. So does it make any sense to you why we have to participate in this activity at work? YES! Personally, I think it would be fun if offices participated collectively in these types of activities. Speaking to some of my coworkers, they couldn’t agree more. I’m sure you’re pretty confused still why you should show and tell one of your most prized possessions at work. I know you might think people might not care, but trust me, they will. And it doesn’t have to be anything big. Well, it can be, that’s up to you. If people look at you in a weird way, tell them about this holiday, and depending on how fun your office is, you could continue show and tell tomorrow, which is a Friday, so everyone can use some fun! Bubble Bath Day – Doesn’t this sound fantastic? A nice hot and relaxing bubble bath, just you and your favorite person – YOU! If you’re getting back in the swing of things or have been stressed lately, then it’s time to chill out and allow your senses to be calmed. Sure I may not love bubble baths; however, I could use a nice break. Bubble baths are meant to be boring. Hence, they require you to do nothing. If you’re a busy bee like me who hates being bored, then bubble baths are a little scary. It’s just you and soap and water. AHH. What will we do? Well, ever since I was little, I developed a little activity to keep me occupied during bath time. I didn’t want to get my Barbie dolls wet, so I’d use shampoo bottles and pretend they were Barbies. Think Adam Sandler in Billy Madison. At least it entertained me for the time I was in the bath. My point is: the hustle and bustle of everyday life can get to you after a while. It’s important that you take some time to bring your body and life into normal speed. You can’t walk around like Jim Carrey all the time. Somebody stop him for real! Well, back to the holiday, there’s not much else you can do except enjoy some peaceful serenity today.
