Creative Ways to Make Money Part III – Guest Post from Nicole of Nicole’s Nickels

Yesterday, Nicole introduced us to making money with Mystery Shopping in Part II of her post. Today, she gives great advice on how to benefit with online offers. Take a look:

Online Offers

You have probably seen many online offers but assumed that they were not legitimate. Online offers are the ads saying things like “FREE Ipod” and then when you click them you realize you have to complete some offers prior to getting your Ipod. Most people write these off but they are for real!

I was skeptical but did an offer for a Wii and a Wii Fit that ended up costing me only $36.34 out of pocket. I signed up on the website and then completed 8 offers, signing up for various trial offers and to receive various products. The key to online offers, just as with all of these money-makers discussed today, is organization! Make sure to copy and paste the terms and conditions of each offer as well as the details about how to cancel. Follow the instructions carefully and in about 2 months you’ll have your prize!

I have posted very detailed instructions on how to complete these offers successfully here and have listed the newest offers here. There are many $500 giftcards posted as well as prizes such as a Coach purse and wallet. Choose the prize you want (check out on the terms and conditions how many offers you will need to complete), read the directions on my blog carefully and start the countdown until your prize arrives!

My experiences with all of these money-makers has been very positive and has allowed me to earn significant money each month. I work at my own pace and at the hours I want, from the comfort of my home in my pajamas! There is no obligation to complete surveys or perform mystery shops once you have signed up and an online offer can (and should) be completed in just 2-3 hours. Even if you do these things sporadically, every little bit of money helps, right?

Have fun with these creative ways to make some $$, and let us know what you think. If you missed Nicole’s advice on making money through completing surveys, read Part I of her post.

At Bloomingdale’s, you’ll find a whole spectrum of colors to choose from – pine greens, flashy magentas, summery oranges, soft yellows, chic blacks, and more.

Party like a Frock Star

The Dress: ABS by Allen Schwartz Ruffled Silk Dress with Rose

One look at this dress and you’ll know it’s not your typical Little Black Dress. For one, the ruffled bottom and single strap give it the flirty, feminine apparel you’ve been craving with just enough editorial edge to keep it on the cusp of fashion.

Rainbow Brite

The Dress: Hervé Leger Rainbow Striped Dress

Let’s put it this way: when I first laid eyes on it, my tongue was hanging on the floor. Hello, everyone knows that a bandage dress is the hotness! Couple that with stripes in vivid colors and you’ve got yourself a look that will make an outstanding entrance.

Win the Crown in This Gown

The Dress: Badgley Mischka Platinum Sequined Floral Silk Chiffon Gown

Drape this over your body, and you’re instantly transformed into a statuesque goddess. The flowy chiffon can best be described as the epitome of effortless elegance. And to balance off the bold statement the bottom makes, the strapless top has floral beading to put the focus on your face.

These are just a few of the many options available at your fingertips. Browse through the e-shelves at Bloomingdale’s today to dig up even more treasures!

Creative Ways to Make Money Part II – Guest Post from Nicole of Nicole’s Nickels

Let’s welcome back Nicole for Part II of III on Creative Ways to Make Money. In Part I, Nicole gave some great tips on how to make money with surveys. And now she’ll be talking about how to get compensated for going shopping!

Mystery Shopping

Many people are very weary of mystery shopping as there is a myth out there that this is all a scam and you have to pay money to sign-up. That is a MYTH! You do not pay ANY money to sign-up and there are many very legitimate companies out there.

You can check out a list of legitimate mystery shopping companies at the Mystery Shopping Providers Association. You are treated as an independent contractor for each company and you sign an agreement to keep their clients a secret. That means that I cannot tell you what stores each company shops for but I can tell you that there are all kinds of shops out there from amusement parks to fancy restaurants to car dealerships to grocery stores. The more companies you sign up to shop with (remember it’s FREE to sign up) the more opportunities you will get.

The key to being a great mystery shopper is to stay organized and follow all directions in your shops and reports. Some shops are reimbursement only (you get reimbursed for the item(s) you buy), fee only (you get paid a flat fee for doing the shop) and fee plus reimbursement (get reimbursed for the purchase and a flat fee). Make sure to read the directions carefully and follow them exactly!

Some of the companies I have shopped with in the past, been paid on time with, and never had an issue with are:

For more mystery shopping companies I recommend and additional tips, please visit Nicole’s Nickels.

Stay tuned for Part III of Nicole’s Creative Ways to Make Money – she’ll be talking about online offers.
