Festivus – OK, so I’ve heard the word Festivus once or twice before writing and researching this holiday; however, I had no idea it was this big. Festivus gained popularity from the hit TV show, Seinfeld. Festivus was the idea of the show’s scriptwriter, Daniel O’Keefe. This real-life experience was then adapted into the show and appeared in the Seinfeld episode “Strike.” It is celebrated on December 23rd as a backlash to the commercialization of Christmas. National Noodle Ring Day – Does this remind you of anything?
